This is why permanent camouflages are so important for Tier X ships and why they cost on average about $20.00 USD. You can earn quite a few credits in a Tier X ship but the repair and resupply costs will take most if not more than all that you earn. You need to pay attention to the NET money you earn. I tend to grab my Tier V and VI DDs and play Randoms using economic flags when trying to grind credits. I've not sat down and done a proper analysis. If you live longer you can do more actions that reward you with credits etc. Rewards are based on the % of a targets HP so 10k to a DD is worth way more than 10k to a BB. Maybe your damage is lower but by hitting DDs more you have higher rewards. Not just take the Atago, but has anyone tried something like absolutely maximizing their premium for shear damage, to get higher rewards per battle? Like what if I took a 2nd captain, and made the Atago a pure DPM ship, with high damage HE + max rate of fire?īut what are you giving up for an increase in damage? For instance, if you sacrifice some utility that actually lends to better rewards in another way say RPF helping you hunt DDs. Though I wonder if I could take it a step further. So pick a ship you have mastered and are consistently able to perform well with and you will earn some credits. A good T7 or T8 tech tree ship can bring some nice earnings in or a T9 premium.
